What should I expect at SCYLC?

Keep in mind your selection tells us your school administrators have selected you because they believe you possess very good potential as a future leader. As such, you will be provided the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of personal leadership including teamwork, time management, critical thinking, decision-making and other characteristics associated with excellence in leading others. You will most likely have the chance to lead a team during the conference which will give you the feel of “taking charge” in a given situation.

We should also note that the four day experience is not all work. There will be time for fun as well since we incorporate the elements of leadership into a number of exercises.
